How I Created This Painting.

I thought you might like to see my process so please excuse the poor quality of photos. These are never for publication, but are just for my use .

I go camping every summer. This photo was taken as a water taxi has loaded us for a 20 minute ride up Lake Opeongo.

yes those are our canoes on top and yes we are going into the backcountry of Algonquin Park.

I took this picture just outside my tent. 

The initial pour done with my photo in mind.

Without drawing nor projections, I start to loosely lay in the sky

I always bring pieces into my living room to analyse and to observe in different light .  

The blue is too solid and is distracting to me- back into the studio
